| The Bonanova Park is
a tourist-class hotel located in a leafy corner of upper Barcelona near
Sarria. This relaxed location is a respite from the downtown and midtown
crush, and it comes at a moderate cost. There are several good restaurants
within walking distance, as well as the metro stops for Sarria and Maria
Cristina. Built in 1971, the Bonanova Park was refurbished in 1989, and
kept in first-class condition, until another complete refurbishment in
2000.
The hotel is close to the shopping
and business districts of Diagonal Avenue. It is also possible to walk
to the home stadium of F.C. Barcelona, as well as the L'illa shopping center.
The guest rooms are bright and breezy,
and the immediate, residential neighborhood is quiet. The nightly rate
