La Carabela restaurant serves Mediterranean-themed

The hotel houses two
meeting rooms: The Miro, which can cater for up to 60 delegates, and The
Marina, which can hold up to 150. The two rooms can also be connected to
accommodate larger functions, and audio-visual equipment is available on
request. Both meeting rooms are equipped with secured wireless internet

Guests arriving by car will find
secure parking available (surcharge). There is a Christmas market every
year in the square surrounding the cathedral. With plenty of local specialities
on sale and gift ideas for the festive period, it draws in visitors from
all over Spain. Entry to the market is free and it is open daily during
December. In the warmer months there are live concerts and special events
in the square. Barcelona international airport is 16 kilometres away, with
an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Driving Directions
Trains and yellow and black taxi
cabs are available for transfer from the airport to the centre of Barcelona.
The aerobus also serves terminals a and b and takes passengers to Plaza
Catalunya and Plaza Espanya in central Barcelona. The extensive underground
train system (the metro) connects the hotel with the rest of central Barcelona
with most journeys taking less than 20 minutes. The metro station closest
to the hotel is Jaume I. The hotel can give advice on local bus services
and order yellow and black taxi cabs on request.
Driving directions: from Barcelona
airport take the highway, direction Barcelona. Then follow the A2 Barcelona
ring road. Turn off at exit 21 and take Las Ramblas (a wide boulevard)
toward the Gothic Quarter. Follow signs for the Cathedral and the hotel
is just off the Cathedral Square on Avenida de la Catedral. |
