The Rafael Hotel Diagonal
Port is a contemporary hotel with a white façade located in the
developing Front Maritim seafront area of Barcelona, 500 metres from the
beach. The six storey hotel features 115 guestrooms, all of which have
light modern decor with design furnishings. All rooms include air conditioning,
cable TV, pay movies, minibars, designer toiletries and internet connections.
Mediterranean dishes and a variety of wines are served in the relaxed contemporary
restaurant with beige decor and white tablecloths. Filled with potted plants
and cherry- red designer armchairs, the lobby features an extensive collection
of avant-garde works of art. Seven meeting rooms provide state-of-the-art
facilities for social functions and conferences and wireless internet is
available throughout the hotel for guests with laptops. Parking is available
for a surcharge. As well as the beach, guests will find the Forum Exhibition
Centre 500 metres away, and central attractions including Ciutadella Park
and the Picasso Museum are two kilometres away. Barcelona airport (bcn)
is 30 minutes by car, 20 kilometres (13 miles) from the hotel.

Driving Directions
The airport train station is a short walk from the terminals, via a
covered walkway. There are train services from the airport to Plaza Catalunya
every 30 minutes. From Plaza Catalunya go one stop on the red line metro
to Urquinaona, then change to the yellow line and continue to Poble Nou
station, 500 metres from the hotel.
There is also an aerobus service to Plaça de Catalunya every 12
minutes. Taxis are available in front of the airport terminals.
