Mas
Xipres is more than 200 year old Masia. This old Spanish farmhouse was
used for the wine production. As you can see in the big cellar (200 m2)
next to the main house (photo below) a lot of the old equipment is still
there.
Together with
the natural environment, the big swimming pool, delicious food and drinks,
Mas Xipres is the ideal holiday destination.
The little church
on the property has recovered its original function. Many people of different
nationalities have experienced their wedding or baptism ceremony in this
small and romantic chapel.
Easy and comfortable
to extend the party into the gardens with beautiful views, or indoors in
the central part of the old wine barn “El Celler”. This authentic space
with its cosy bar is perfect for dinners and buffets for big groups as
well for small numbers of people.
During
the day tapas or salads can be served, and for the evening Hetty likes
to cook one her beautiful menus. Living in the wine area the masia serves
a very good wine....
Everything
is possible from luxury dinners, working with one of the best caterers
of Catalunya, to a relaxed barbeque or buffet.
There
are also some lovely restaurants in the village and within 5 km there are
also 4 other villages with good restaurants. The Masia has good contact
with the local bodegas and can organize visits as well.
